Hi there, GrowingPains - welcome to the forum! Obviously none of us fans work at Maria's record label Sony Music Norway, so we don't know the real answer to that. But I believe they put more effort into letting Maria go on tour than releasing singles. And maybe it was a matter of which songs that were released on the album and a matter of the cost of making music videos. The music video for "Leaving You" was a low-budget video from what I recall, it was done by one photographer alone (Solveig Selj). Personally I think "Good God" would have been a nice single, but it's becoming harder and harder to predict what makes a song catchy or breathtaking enough for them to listen to it many times in a row. I hope Maria's next album will be more successful sales wise.

Another Phase has sold 30,000 copies in Norway (Platinum record) as of January 2012.
Apparently Unaffected has sold 100,000 copies in Germany (Gold), 50,000 copies in the Netherlands (Platinum), and 40,000 copies in Norway (Platinum).
Cause and Effect has sold 100,000 copies in Germany (Gold), 25,000 copies in the Netherlands (Gold), 30,000 copies in Norway (Platinum) and 15,000 copies in Switzerland (Gold).
Viktoria has sold 15,000 copies in Norway (Gold).
There are no official certifications for Mellow, Weapon in Mind and Growing Pains yet. Apparently Unaffected was the first album that was released outside Norway in its entirety. White Turns Blue was a compilation album designed specifically for the USA back in 2004. You'll find sources for the sales here: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maria_Mena#Albums.
