I believe so, Marit. I think Maria's team has scheduled these dates after several Danish fans requested her to come to Denmark. In the past when she announced shows in Copenhagen (twice if I remember correctly), she also cancelled those. But she played with Mads Langer in Denmark once, there is a recording of "Habits" on Youtube from that particular concert.

So on Thursday February 16th Maria published this post on Facebook: "Pssst.. i might be going to NYC next week.. and i MIGHT be playing for free at an open mic-night.. just for fun. Stay tuned!" (Source: facebook.com/mariamenaofficial…998553256/?type=3&theater) So for anyone who are able to go to New York in the USA, this is probably your chance to see her perform, if she actually goes to New York next week. (I tagged limpy at first here but then I double-checked and saw that her location is currently Los Angeles, not New York.)

On January 16th she posted about how she was planning a trip to Nicaragua (instagram.com/p/BPVarcQBIeF/?taken-by=mariamena_official), and wanted tips from her fans. So maybe the New York trip and the Nicaragua trip are connected?

Here is an update about whether Maria will play a concert in the USA: "So, i lost my passport and got stranded in norway for our winter-break. But after an incredible birthday week i was pretty spent,so it was fine. Esp when my best friend, musician and poet Trygve Skaug invited me to "Ørje" (Norway's NYC..) i knew that my party quota would be filled... So we'll see what happens! I think it would be very cool if she performs for the fans in the USA, who have waited for years for her to do a concert there.
